Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!

There are several fun events this weekend, but double check if they’ve been rescheduled because we have rain in the forecast. With Indigenous People’s Day on Monday, there will be a few closings of government facilities but many services are still running (no slide on trash, Alpha Ridge will be open, etc.)

As for events, Bruster’s in Maple Lawn is celebrating their grand opening with $4 small waffle cones and $3 small cups and cake cones all weekend. Saturday will have music, face painting, etc.

Howard County Pride is also this Sunday though current forecasts show rain but the festival says it’ll take place rain or shine.

Finally, on Monday, there’s a celebration of Indigenous People’s Day at Harriet Tubman Cultural Center from 4-7pm.

It’s across Marie Curie Dr. from TJs and next to the Paragon apartments. It’s going to be fun getting in and out of there.
