Good morning!
What do you think of the new Howard County flag?

You can read the designer Esen Paradiso explain the ideas behind the design.
Also, did you know hummingbirds migrate south for the winter? (of course you did, youβre smarter than a 5th grader)
Well, theyβre flapping furiously back! Hummingbird Central tracks sightings and as of April 2nd, the bulk of sightings were as far north as Richmond but there were a couple up near Fairfax and as far north as Dover β¦ so get your feeders ready because theyβre probably hungry! π₯π₯π₯
(Oh, on 4/8 itβs free cone day at Ben and Jerryβs but sadly we donβt have one all that closeβ¦ but if youβre traveling you may get lucky!)

[RUMOR] Cinemark @ Snowden Square to be Demolished? βπΏ
Put this in the rumor column until official word, but it appears the Cinemark at Snowden Square will be shut down on April 17th and sold to Phoenix Theaters and demolished. The sale was known, but this was posted to the Columbia subreddit, explaining the theater would be torn down and replaced with a warehouse. Iβm skeptical but something to keep an eye on.

Bobby & Family @ Disneyβs Hollywood Studio
π· by Bobby Perry | πΊοΈ Hollywood Studios, FL
Our entire family went to Disney for the first time earlier this year (itβs quite the adventure with four kids, plus two grandparents) and we enlisted the help of Bobby Perry, an Authorized Disney Travel Planner who lives in Fulton!
He was instrumental in getting us good deals and also good reservations. He literally calls up the restaurants, waits, and makes reservations. Itβs that hands on. This is not an ad but it is an endorsement because he helped us out a ton and it cost us nothing extra.
You can find out more about him at his website and if youβre planning a trip, find out if if he knows of any good packages or deals you havenβt seen.

Pupatella Pizza Opens in Columbia π
If you want authentic Neopolitan pizza (itβs certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana), Pupatella opened up last month with much fanfare and the early reviews from diners is positive. Weβve passed by the location numerous times driving home from the Meadowbrook Athletic Complex and itβs fun seeing them transform the former Pizza Hut location.
