Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!
The Columbia LakeFront hosts free outdoor movies all summer and you can make it a full Wicked weekend. While lightly billed as a “Glindification Celebration,” (that’s a mouthful) Saturday also includes a Family Fun Day at 5pm that includes a meet & greet with Elinda and Elphaba, face painting, sparkling wands, and more.
One of the fun things about putting together this newsletter is you discover so many fun events you’ve never heard of. And some of them end up being the oldest German festival in Maryland… and I’ve lived in Maryland for 20+ years! This is the first I’ve ever heard of it.
Let’s see what’s happening this weekend!

This developer is also responsible for the redevelopment of The Source too, which has a big financing gap while also getting $25 million in public grants. Jeremy takes a deep dive into why this might be happening.
