Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!
I’m a little bummed we’ll be missing the Howard County AAPI Festival at Merriweather this weekend. We’ve gone the last few years and it’s been a really fun time. It’s free and you get to enjoy so many cultural performances, music, food, and other fun activities. If you have time Saturday afternoon, check it out.
Then, after the AAPI Festival, head to the Lakefront Live Summer Kickoff Block Party at 4:30. There will be free kids’ activities, food trucks, free ice cream (while supplies last!) and a performance by Tap Band on the new stage. There will also be a community beer garden featuring local breweries and wineries.
If you’re clever, snag a good parking spot for the Lakefront Summer Kickoff party when you’re parking for the AAPI Festival!
