Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!
🍇 As we’re now firmly into the nicer and warmer weather (could hit 90° on Sunday!), the number of outdoor events has increased significantly. Most of the Howard County farmer’s markets are in operation (with a few more opening next week) and we’ll also see Wine in the Woods at Merriweather going on all weekend.
🎤 The CA Lakefront Stage was completed earlier this month with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Summer Kick-Off party isn’t until the 30th but The Players Band will be performing a free concert this Saturday starting at 7pm.
🏇 The 151st running of the Preakness Stakes is this weekend in Laurel but we won’t see Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo in it. This is the last time it’ll run at Laurel Park before returning to Pimlico in 2027 after a $400 million renovation.
Let’s see what’s going on this weekend!
