Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!
What a week itβs been! Snow (and ice!) cover everything and hopefully youβve been safe, warm, and sane (especially if you have kids and theyβve been home all week!).
β If you have kids at home, consider having them enter the Womenβs History Month Poster Contest hosted by the Howard County Commission for Women. The theme for this year is a celebration of the collective strength and influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, innovation, and leadership. Here are more details on the contest and entries are due by February 6th.
If your mailbox or something else was damaged by a HoCo snow plow, hereβs the policy for claims. Note that they only cover physical contact by the plow to the property (like your mailbox), if it was damaged by thrown snow or ice, unfortunately thatβs not covered.
Keep an eye on the forecasts tooβ¦ thereβs a βbomb cycloneβ coming up the East Coast and we may get a little more snow this weekend but right now itβs not looking likely.
Also, given all the snow & frigid temps, double check that the events listed below are still happening.
Letβs go!
