Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!
🍻 Tis the season for Oktoberfests! It turns out that you can win most stein holding competitions if you can hold it for over four minutes and get a little lucky. And this is the weekend for Oktoberfests in Maryland, so if that’s your jam, don’t miss out!
🎊 This weekend is also one of my favorite events of the year - the Oktoberfest and Multicultural Festival at St. Matthew in King’s Contrivance. (and yes, Oktoberfests are my jam)
We’ve been sending our kids to the Young School daycare around the corner for the last 14 years (yes… fourteen) and have been going to this festival every year after accidentally.
Over the three days, you can expect amazing food, wine and beer garden, children’s area, and so much entertainment (it really is multi-cultural with so many performances from so many different cultures). It’s a fantastic time and you should go. If you see me, say hi!
🚲 If you have a used bike you no longer want, you can donate them to Free Bikes 4 Kidz Maryland by dropping it off at any Howard County fire station this Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
Also in this week’s Fulton Flyer:
Harry Potter in OEC 🧙
Beer festival at Symphony Woods 🍺
And a proper Oktoberfest at Reckless Shepherd 🥳
