Family Fun Day @ Columbia Mall - Mr. Jon and Friends will have a costume dance party from 11 to 11am at the center court.

Boo-wling Spooktacular @ Main Event - A “frightfully fun Halloween at Main Event Columbia! Join witches, goblins, and spooky gamers for a night full of games, crafts, and eerie excitement suitable for all ages.” 2 hours of bowling, craft zone, costume contest at 7pm, and more.

Belmont Blockbuster Series - The final movie night at Belmont Manor & Historic Park will be a showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas starting at 8pm. Advanced registration is encouraged because there’s limited parking but the event is free (but come in costumes!)

Trivia Night @ Common Kitchen - Every Thursday starting at 6:30pm with Dan Master Quiz. Prizes to the top three teams of 1-6 people and this week is Halloween themed!

Trick or Treat on Main Street in OEC - Old Ellicott City hosts trick or treat on Main Street from 4pm-6pm, with dozens of businesses participating with “mountains of candy.” Mountains!

Halloween at Manor Hill - Normal hours of 4pm-9pm, they’re releasing ReconFIGured and anyone in costume gets 15% off their check.

Monster Mash @ Harriet Tubman Cultural Center - For ages 14-17, head to the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center from 7-10pm for a night of games, music, snacks and more. You can wear costumes but no masks.

Around the World: Storytime & Creative Movement -Central America - Head to the Columbia Art Center for an interactive FREE class series takes little ones (3-5) on a global adventure through stories, music, and dance. We'll explore new languages, rhythms, traditions, and movement to develop children's social, linguistic, and gross motor skills in a vibrant, multicultural setting.

Columbia Ice Rink Halloween Skate - Each skate will feature spooky music, disco lights and free candy at the end of skate session. If you come in costume, you'll get a free skate rental.

Halloween @ Sapwood Cellars - They offer four Hallowene theme beers as well as costume contests (family contest is at 4pm, best overall at 7pm) and a spooky playlist!

Columbia After Dark @ GameOn - Columbia Social is hosting a Halloween bash from 8pm to midnight at GameOn Bar & Arcade.

Oversea Halloween Party 2025 - A 21+ Halloween party at Oversea that will have a DJ, cocktails, contests and secret prizes.

Fright Fest 2025 in Silver Spring - A 21+ Halloween party at Citizens & Culture on Georgia Avenue. DJ, costume contest, and more.

Howard County Crafts Spectacular @ Fairgrounds - The HoCo Fairgrounds hosts an arts and crafts show featuring over 250 vendors. There will also be magic shows!

Howard County Historical Society Furlough Friday - From 1pm to 4pm, the museum has a brief lecture on Halloween and then you can enjoy a maker’s space for all ages with pumpkins, free snacks, and more.

Karaoke @ The Trolley Stop - Fridays at 9:30pm hosted by Kelly Secret.

Wine Tasting @ K-9 and Coffee - $10 per guest, includes hors d’oeuvres.

Clarksville Farmer’s Market - This weekend is the Halloween Market – regular farmers market with trick-or-treating for those in costume, plus trunk-or-treating thanks to a couple local EV clubs. From 9am to 1pm.

Excavator at Home Depot Kids Workshop - Head to Home Depot at 9am with a kid (it would be weird if you didn’t) to build an Excavator, be sure to register ahead of time.

Maryland Emancipation Day Celebration @ Oakley Cabin - Oakley Cabin African American Museum & Park hosts a celebration from noon until 4pm with live jazz music, stories, and more.

Draft Horses & Draft Beers @ Manor Hill - Starting at noon, Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue will be there with friendly horses for petting and pictures. Part of the proceeds from the day will be donated to Gentle Giants. Good Karma Creamery will be there too.

Howard Astronomical League Star Parties - The HAL hosts star parties every month up at Alpha Ridge Park from March through November, the last public one (for non-members) for 2025 is tonight.

Drag Me to Brunch @ Union Jacks - Starts at 11am, fabulous drag queens serve up fierce performances alongside delicious food and bottomless mimosas.

Young People’s Concert @ Jim Rouse Theatre - From 10:30am to 1pm, enjoy music from Bluey and Peter and the Wolf performed by the Columbia Orchestra. This is a ticketed event.

Sit and Stitch with Embroiderers' Guild of America - Sit and stitch with members of the Constellation Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America at the Central Branch Library from 1pm to 2:30pm.

Free Guided Tour of B&O Ellicott City Station Museum - We love this free museum, especially the model train room (it’s quite impressive). Tours are free and start at 2pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Musical Kaleidoscope: A Faculty Celebration - The Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College celebrates a performance in which the faculty perform!

Pumpkin Chucking Weekend @ Clark’s Elioak Farm - While there is always a lot to do at Clark’s Elioak Farm, this weekend will include a catapult that launches pumpkins. Bring your own or buy one of theirs. 🎃

Clay Workshop @ Black Flag Brewing - At 4pm, head to Black Flag for a clay workshop with Lawson Pottery where you will create your own custom ornament. Ticket includes a beer, instruction, and materials to make three porcelain ornaments. (sign up by the 31st)

Ellicott Distilling Co. Distillery Class - Distill your own bottle of vodka or gin and flavor it with their thousands of flavor combinations or bring your own. Get a custom label, do some trivia, win prizes, eat tacos, and sip on bottomless mimosas! Starts at 10am and ends around 12:30pm.

Food Drive to Benefit Columbia Community Care - Next Tuesday, from 6-7:3pm, middle schoolers are running a food drive at 11321 Liberty Street. They are in need of donations to help people in our area.

Seed Packaging Volunteer Event @ Howard EcoWorks - From 5:30pm to 8pm, help Howard EcoWorks package Native Seeds that help support their organization, while watching a cozy family-friendly autumn movie and hot cocoa!

Free Bingo Night @ Common Kitchen - Every Tuesday at 6pm. You get 6 free bingo cards (and can earn more, ask the bingo caller!) and can win prizes each round like free food and drink and Common Kitchen gift certificates.
