Explore new languages, rhythms, traditions, and movement to develop children's social, linguistic, and gross motor skills in a vibrant, multicultural setting.

Ravens Rally @ Manor Hill - Head to Manor Hill Brewing at 4pm until 5pm for a rally that includes a few cheerleaders and Poe, the mascot. It’s also a release of their Porter and you get a Purple & Gold Manor Hill Coozie with any purchase.

Oktoberfest @ St. Mark’s Episcopal Church - St. Mark’s is hosting an Oktoberfest from 5:30 to 9pm with food, laughter, games, and German folk music! $30 per adult, $15 per kid (if they choose the kid menu), with a max of $100 per family. Proceeds benefit their outreach ministry.

Halloween Event with Charm Rescue - 6-9pm tonight and tomorrow night, enjoy a haunted trail, trunk or treat, plus Halloween craft and games. Proceeds go to CHARM Rescue!

The Haunted Experience (7 yrs +) - From 7pm to 10pm, enjoy a spooky hayride for $10 per person (cash only) at Rockburn Branch Park, West. Again on Saturday from 6:30pm-10pm.

28th Celebration of the Arts in Howard County - It’s the signature arts event of HoCo, with a reception starting at 5pm with 15-20 culinary sponsors showcasing their foods. It is followed by performances and more.

Main Street Monster Bash @ OEC - Head up to Main Street in Old Ellicott City from noon until 4pm for a free family event! Costume contests, pumpkin decorating, candy corn bowling, music and more.

Mikey & Mel’s Cruise In - The final cruise in of the season is this Saturday from 10am to 1pm and will include a costume contest for best kid, best car, and best adult. It’s a free meetup of car enthusiasts with a DJ. All makes and models are welcome.

Laurel Craft Beer Festival - Laurel Park hosts a craft beer festival from noon until 4pm, 21+ only and will feature eleven Maryland breweries.

Halloween Tricks, Treats and Trees - Robinson Nature Center hosts a fun halloween event for ages 0-5+ where you can celebrate nature’s tricks. Make a potion, enjoy puppet shows, and make crafts.

Trunk or Treat @ Columbia SportsPark - From 3pm-6pm, CA’s annual Trunk or Treat event will be at the SportsPark. There will be lots of candy, games, and activities for everyone to enjoy.

KidSpace Movie Night @ Columbia Athletic Club - Kids 4-13 of CA members can enjoy a movie, free activities, pizza, and popcorn from 6pm to 9pm. Unfortunately, CA doesn’t seem to list the movie being shown!

Free Guided Tour of B&O Ellicott City Station Museum - We love this free museum, especially the model train room (it’s quite impressive). Tours are free and start at 2pm every Saturday and Sunday..

Howard County Pride - Rescheduled to the 26th, enjoy performances, play games, find resources, and make connections.

Pour with a Purpose @ Candles by Candy - At both locations (Ellicott City and Savage Mill) at 11am-6pm, join a special pink-themed candle-making event in which a portion of proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen to support breast cancer research.

Silver Spring Holiday Crafts & Treats Fair - Enjoy holiday crafts & treats at Veterans Plaza! Start the holiday shopping season with arts & crafts vendors, jewelry, bath and body products, holiday decor, and more! Category 5 Wind Ensemble Concert - If you fancy a trip to St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Annapolis, you can hear a professional level ensemble made up mostly of local music teachers from Howard County and surrounding counties as well.

Frederick Fall Festival - From 11am to 5pm up in Frederick, enjoy live music and performances, kids activities, handmade goods, art and great food.

Encore Comedy Show @ Black Flag - Encore Comedy returns to Black Flag for a show from 6pm to 9pm.

Ellicott Distilling Co. Distillery Class - Distill your own bottle of vodka or gin and flavor it with their thousands of flavor combinations or bring your own. Get a custom label, do some trivia, win prizes, eat tacos, and sip on bottomless mimosas! Starts at 10am and ends around 12:30pm.

Trunk or Treat @ Brookville Beer Farm - From 6-7pm, Brookville will have a trunk or treat in their parking lot.
