Good morning {{first name | neighbor}}!
The weather is starting to get colder as the evenings get into the 30s - if you have cold sensitive plants, might be a good time to bring them in before Mother Nature sneaks in something colder!
Halloween is on a Friday this year (next Friday though), with HoCo schools out 3-hours early, and so we’re seeing a few events this weekend. Is it me or have “Trunk or Treats” been growing in popularity the last few years?
They’re definitely easier… but takes away one critical part of Halloween. Kind of hard to egg or TP a car with the owner standing right there. 🤣
In this week’s Fulton Flyer:
Ravens Rally at Manor Hill @ 4pm today 🐦⬛
Lots of trunk or treats!
The last remaining A-10C Thunderbolt in MD retired
Here we go!

A-10C Thunderbolt II, number 087
📷 by wieudacieu on Reddit | 🗺️ Hagerstown, MD
The above photo was the last remaining A-10C Thunderbolt in the Maryland Air National Guard and it was retired in late September. From the Reddit thread:
A-10C Thunderbolt II, number 087, the last remaining aircraft of the Maryland Air National Guard, was flown into Hagerstown Regional Airport today for the last time by Major Taylor Price.
Hagerstown held the assembly line for every A-10 aircraft in production from the 70's to the 80's (finalized models). Today marks the landing of 087, to be displayed at the Hagerstown museum where it once took off 46 years ago.
Tomorrow marks the de-activation of the 104th FS, 175th wing, Maryland ANG, nicknamed the Fightin' O's.
